Fern L. Holland, 33, of Tulsa, Okla., a Washington lawyer who was working with the women's rights movement in Iraq,

working for the Coalition Provisional Authority, near Abu Gharaq, a settlement 70 miles south of Baghdad Killed driving back from work assignments in Karbala, when gunmen dressed as policemen pursued the car carrying the three and fired into the vehicle.Four men arrested in connection with that attack were apparently members of the new Iraqi police force. Another man arrested after that attack was identified as a former member of the police force under Saddam Hussein.
